Hi my name is Star. Yes that is my real name. I am not a hippie but my father was.
My first computer was a Commodore 64 with a Commodore BASIC 2.0 operating system which I received as a present for my 12th Christmas from my parents. When I was 11, my public school had a donation from the state where we received about twenty new Commodore 64 and twenty new Apple II computers for our public school computer program. I was lucky to be introduced to this environment and took interest quickly at a young age. Eventually, my interests lead to games like Atari and Nintendo.
It’s been 18 years since the first story and I believe if my parents never gave me that computer for Christmas, I would not be this fortunate to share my experience in the web and computer industry. Ever since I was logged into the world wide web via AOL, I’ve been hooked!
Today, I run a web development and a search engine optimization consultant company helping small businesses compete with large corporate. I’m still learning as I go and consider myself a student at all times trying to keep the pace with the technology that is growing and changing so fast.
I made this site so that I can share my knowledge about search engine optimization. I want to share my experience with readers on web sites I’ve worked on as well as things I’ve learned from the other SEO gurus.
